Olivia Manning papers consist of correspondence (handwritten and typed letters and cards from Olivia Manning to Kay Dick (aka Edward Lane) and Kathleen Farrell and one black and white photograph featuring Olivia Manning and Kay Dick at a Heinemann’s garden party, circa 1940s and writinigs (drafts, galley proofs, excised material, and book jacket blurbs).

Paul Scott papers

Scope and Contents

Consists of over 5700 pieces of correspondence to Scott along with carbon file copies of approximately 6000 letters written by him; manuscripts including Staying On and My Appointment with the Muse; commissioned reader's reports and book reviews; personal items including military records and photographs of Paul Scott and Paul Scott with family and/or colleagues.

Scott was a British novelist and visiting University of Tulsa visiting professor in 1977.

Sitwell collection, 1923-1980

Scope and Contents The collection consists of original manuscript material of Edith Sitwell, including 30 letters to Zosia Kochanski, wife of noted Polish violinist Paul Kochanski. Vernon Scannell papers, 1948-1971

Consists of 9 handwritten letters from Scannell (written while incarcerated in Brixton Prison, London) to Jo Scannell (his wife) dating from March to April, 1967. Also included are handwritten poems, radio scripts and plays, and an autobiographical piece, A Proper Gentlemen written in 11 notebooks and writing tablets, and individual sheets.
